Vernon Mason, a 30-year veteran of technology design in the areas of sound, lighting, broadcast, scoreboard, and LED display systems, is President and Lead Consultant of VWMason Technology Consultants. He is passionate about his work and prefers to be hands-on, managing projects whenever possible. He spends his time out of the office running and cycling.

Daryl is the managing partner for VWMason Technology Consultants and has been involved in both the technology and construction industry for almost 30 years. He has spent much of his career working alongside Vernon Mason as a technology consultant and integrator. He loves to travel with his family and spend time working on projects around the house.

CTS, Certified Audiovisual Professional

For over two decades, Marielle has worked in the audio-visual industry becoming a regarded technical expert in the fields of IPTV, unified communications, and LED display systems. Marielle serves as a local leader for the AVIXA Women's Council. She loves to spend time outdoors, traveling, camping and exploring with her family.

David has spent over 20 years in IT, including 6 years as a Systems Architect and 1.5 years as a Solutions Consultant. At VWMason, he reviews client requirements and existing systems to ensure their digital infrastructure is resilient and capable. Outside of the office, David enjoying motorcycling, writing sci-fi, and listening to electronic music.

Building from 14 years of experience as an AVL technician, Rob provides research and design support for custom AV solutions, including acoustic measurements and modeling for a variety of audio applications, product evaluation and selection, and development of integrated AV system designs. Outside of the office, Rob is an avid video gamer, computer builder, and casual student of military history.

Ken is a highly accomplished AV professional with more than 18 years of experience in system design, sales, project management, and team leadership. Known for his results-oriented approach, he excels at delivering innovative technology integration solutions and managing complex projects from initial planning through successful completion. His extensive expertise, combined with a strong commitment to client satisfaction and operational excellence, enables him to drive successful outcomes for both organizations and their customers.

Ryan’s career in technology began over a decade ago as a structured cabling technician.  Evolving roles have led to more than 8 years of experience as an AV integrator, through which he has developed a deep expertise of audio-visual systems.  When not working on AV projects, Ryan enjoys being outdoors, travelling or listening to music.   

Alison brings structure, curiosity, and clear communication to complex projects, helping teams to move forward with confidence. Her background in contract management and operations has given her a strong foundation in coordinating complex, multi-stakeholder work. Outside of the office, Alison enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering in the neurodiversity community, and getting lost in immersive video games.

Shaneil is an AV Professional who has been in the industry for over a decade. He has worked on projects ranging from live events to project management on large integrated audio-visual installations.

AJ's journey into the tech world began with a deep interest in cybersecurity, earning a diploma in this field which gave him a solid foundation in understanding computer systems and security measures.  His passion for AV technology is not only a professional pursuit, but began as a volunteer role in his church, where he was the go-to person for all things audiovisual.   

Merrick spent 16 years in sports management on the team/fan experience side before joining the team at VWMason. Here he develops, designs, and manages projects and relationships across the company. Outside of the office, Merrick spends too many hours a week managing his fantasy football roster.

Mike is an industry professional of 5 years involved in AV integration and broadcast engineering. An SBE-certified Broadcast Technologist with a background in 3D modelling and programming, he is eager to bring his varied skill set and experience to VWMason. Mike enjoys listening to music, lifting weights, and watching scary movies with his wife.

Christine is an administrative professional with over 30-years’ experience. She has spent much of her career working within the construction industry and brings that experience to her role with VWMason. In addition to her Office Manager duties, Christine supports our contract administration work. She loves to travel in the winter and spend her summers in the backyard

Emily supports the design and delivery of technology consulting projects and helps transform design concepts into accurate, buildable solutions. With a background in Architectural Technology, both design and operational experience help her bridge the gap between vision and execution. Outside of the office, Emily enjoys family time, gardening, and traveling.
