YYC,
CALGARY, AB

The Calgary International Airport is a hub of the city. The terminal building spans over 140,000 square metres with a clear vision to deliver a “sense of place” to the millions of passengers that come through their doors each year. In order to enhance this vision, the Calgary Airport Authority contracted VWMason to revitalize the domestic baggage claim area in 2019 by incorporating technology into the space. The intent was to complement YYC’s branding strategy, and provide the opportunity to display revenue-generating third party advertising, passenger-facing messages and alerts.
